  1. Thank you for a rather interesting read.
    I’d just like to say that I especially agree with the assertion that we live in a culture of indifference. I’d extend it to say that we live in a culture that seems to demand that indifference or non-belief be the standard.

    So this person has accepted 1) that Jesus really existed and 2) that he said the things he said in the Gospels. This person wants to then see this historical person as a great moral teacher.

    We might restate Lewis’s argument as “If you already accept that Jesus was not a legend and that he said what the Gospels claim he said, then he was either a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord.”
